Gerry is a colourful, enthusiastic entertainer and can be spotted around Ireland and the UK giving lively cooking demonstrations at a diverse range of venues, from the BBC Good Food Show in the NEC Birmingham to Food Festivals and local schools.
He has delivered food demos for a myriad of charities and private corporate functions plus scores of companies large and small across the UK and Ireland. Gerry has represented brands such as; the Musgrave Group, Budgeons, Londis, Tesco’s, Invest NI, the National Trust, Rooney Fish and Irwin’s Breads.
In addition to being a highly professional operation, Gerry’s demonstrations guarantee a high standard of food all of which can be sampled at source. Menus can be themed to suit the occasion and dishes can include, your company products, the freshest fish and shellfish, lamb, beef and chicken from top suppliers, organic vegetables (in season, picked straight from the garden), berry fruits, local breads and local smoked salmon. Gerry will always try to use local suppliers and seasonal food wherever possible.
We can provide a one-stop shop for any manner of cooking demonstration bringing all of the equipment required including the work surfaces, oven, tools, equipment and even the kitchen sink! Gerry is willing to consider any set-up and is always happy to answer questions. There are one or two minimal requirements but in general most venues can be adapted to form a suitable space.
Gerry can organise demonstrations involving a myriad of other highly skilled chefs both famous, and or local celebrity. Gerry was a quarter finalist on BBC 2’s Master Chef, was invited for a second series, and contributed on screen to BBC’s step up to the plate.
Gerry brings his extensive presentation experience including TV, radio, conference, comedy and music (to name but a few) to his demonstrations to ensure that not only good food is delivered, but good entertainment as well!
